WHO I AM

To love yourself you must know yourself.

A big portion of my life I didn’t have a clue who I was or what I really believed about this crazy world we live in.

Truth be told, I was terrified of myself

I never felt like I fit in and I was sure I was broken somewhere on the inside. I desperately wanted to blend in with the crowd around me but I just never could quite figure out how to do it.

It was a struggle, to say the least.

Many days it felt like I was waging a war inside myself. It was a war that consumed me and made me feel hopeless to ever experiencing real peace inside.

The joke is that on the outside I was doing great at getting by and although there were people who knew I had struggles, none knew the real extent to which my discontent plagued me.

From early childhood I had been confused. I watched the people around me and knew I didn’t want what they told me I was born to have. The thing is, I just never felt like I could say it out loud.

So I went along with the crowd. I played the part. I shut down my truth. I dimmed my light. I lost myself and it took a long time to find my way back.

But that’s the thing, I did find my way back. Now I can say with complete confidence that I am really amazing and I also still feel really fucking crazy sometimes. I absolutely have had or have (depending on the day) more issues than my clients but that’s also why I can help them.

I love learning and practicing all things in spiritual transformation, coaching, shamanic healing, and astrology.

I enjoy discussing and making jokes about this incredibly messy and awkward life we are all trying to lead.

I make mistakes and color outside the lines. I dance off beat because let’s face it, it’s just more fun that way.

I don’t always have the right things to say or wear the best outfits. My Spanish is broken and rusty. My dishes can pile up and my clothes are usually all over the floor of my bedroom.

There are days when I hate everything about this life and I just want to crawl under the covers and forget the world.

But more often, there are days when I feel so incredibly lucky to be who I am and have the opportunity to help others discover and embrace who they are.

I am me and I understand now that that’s an ever-evolving and changing experience but that’s how it’s supposed to be.

This life is a roller coaster ride and it’s absolutely so much better when we are in alignment with the truth of what we are really here to express.

It won’t always be rainbows and unicorns but it will be real. It will feel right. It will be yours. And in my opinion, nothing is more important.

This is my work. If you are ready to take that journey inside, I would be honored to be your guide.
